Privacy Policy
SENVISTA LLC ("Senvista," "we") provides a digital open-house sign-in and feedback service for real estate agents. This notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, sell, and share the personal information of California residents under the CCPA/CPRA.
1. Notice at Collection
At an open house you may complete up to three forms: a sign-in form (your contact details), a separate feedback form (anonymous ratings/comments), and — only if you choose to enter the prize drawing — a separate drawing-entry form (your email). We share your contact information from the sign-in form with the listing agent so the agent can follow up with you (you may opt out — §4, §8). We do not sell your information for money.
2. Our role vs. the agent's role — who contacts you
We operate the platform and the forms. We do not call, text, or email visitors for marketing. The listing agent is a separate business that independently decides whether and how to contact you — including any prize notification or follow-up. When we pass your contact details to that agent for the agent's own use, we treat that transfer as a "sale"/"share" under California law, and you may opt out. The agent is responsible for its own communications and for complying with telemarketing and anti-spam laws.
3. The three open-house forms, and how feedback stays anonymous
- Form 1 — Sign-in (at candid.realestate/s): collects your name, phone, email, whether you are already working with an agent, and whether you agree to be contacted. This is your identity.
We do not store any of it. If you agree to be contacted, your details are emailed to the agent hosting the open house and held nowhere else — no database, no spreadsheet, no log file. That email is the only record, and it belongs to the agent. If you do not agree to be contacted, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is sent and nothing is kept. The only thing we retain for a listing is two numbers: how many people signed in, and how many agreed to be contacted. Those counts contain no names, phone numbers or addresses.
Signs printed before 30 August 2026 may still carry a QR code pointing at our previous sign-in form at forms.candid.realestate/openhouse, which is hosted by Tally as our processor and does store what you enter. We kept those codes working so that signs already in circulation would not fail. If you are using one of those, this paragraph rather than the one above describes what happens to your details. - Form 2 — Feedback (a separate form, at forms.candid.realestate/feedback): collects anonymous ratings and comments about the property. It does not collect your name or contact details, and is stored separately from your sign-in.
- Form 3 — Optional drawing entry (a separate form, at forms.candid.realestate/sweepstakes): if you choose to enter the prize drawing, you provide your email here, on a separate page reached only after you complete the feedback. This entry is stored separately from your feedback answers, so your contact details are never linked to what you said. If you win, we use this contact to notify you and deliver the prize, and may share it with the listing agent solely for prize fulfillment.
- Where these forms run. The sign-in runs on our own servers at candid.realestate — Tally is not involved, which is what allows us to keep no copy of it. The feedback and drawing entry forms are served from forms.candid.realestate, a domain we control, but are built and hosted for us by Tally, acting as our processor under a data-processing agreement. The custom domain changes the address you see, not who handles your information — see our Data Processing Addendum for the full sub-processor list.
- The result: your feedback content is not connected to your identity in our systems. The agent receives only aggregated sentiment and de-identified comments — never feedback tied to a person — and results are withheld until a minimum number of responses is reached so individuals can't be singled out.
4. Sale / sharing
The only "sale"/"share" is the transfer of your contact information to the listing agent for the agent's follow-up, and this is governed by your contact-consent choices at sign-in (see §9): if you leave the optional contact-consent boxes unchecked, we do not share your contact for marketing. Your anonymous feedback, sensitive information (we don't collect it), and the data of anyone under 16 are not sold or shared. Opt out anytime — see §8 — including via the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor.
5. Categories of personal information (CCPA)
| Category | Examples | Sold? | Shared with agent? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | name, email, phone, IP | No | Yes (per your consent) |
| Customer records (§1798.80(e)) | contact details | No | Yes |
| Commercial information | property interest, timeline (optional) | No | Yes |
| Internet/network activity | device, browser, form usage | No | No |
| Geolocation | coarse (from IP only) | No | No |
| Sensitive personal information | not intentionally collected | No | No |
6. Purposes of use
Operate the sign-in/feedback forms; produce reports for the agent; share contact info with the agent (per consent); administer the optional drawing; secure, maintain, and improve the service; comply with law.
7. Retention
Sign-in contact details: not retained at all. They are emailed to the agent hosting the open house and kept nowhere on our systems — there is no retention period because there is nothing held. The email is the only record, and it belongs to that agent, whose own retention practices then apply. Exception: sign-ins that came through a QR code printed before 30 August 2026 still go to our previous Tally-hosted form and are kept for 24 months from collection, or until you ask us to delete them. See section 3.
Consent/opt-out records: 5 years. Drawing records: per the Official Rules. Anonymized/aggregated feedback may be retained indefinitely as it no longer identifies you. Counts of how many people signed in at a listing are kept indefinitely; they contain no names or contact details.
8. Your California rights
Rights to know/access, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing, and non-discrimination. To exercise: email support@candid.realestate; we respond within 45 days (one 45-day extension). Authorized agents permitted with proof. Opt out of sale/sharing via our Your Privacy Choices page, by leaving the optional contact-consent boxes unchecked at sign-in, or via GPC. We apply opt-outs within 15 business days. If you live outside California. Most of the rights above come from California law, but we do not limit them by residence. If you live in another U.S. state — including one with its own privacy law such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Utah or Montana — you may make the same requests to access, correct, or delete your information, and the same opt-out of sharing your contact details with the listing agent, by emailing support@candid.realestate. We apply the same verification steps and the same response times to every request regardless of where you live.
One practical note on deletion. For open-house sign-ins we hold nothing to delete — your details went to the agent and were never kept by us (section 3). We will confirm that, and we will pass your request on to the agent who hosted the open house, but the copy that exists is theirs and only they can remove it. Where we do hold something — a drawing entry, correspondence, an agent account, or a sign-in from a pre-30-August-2026 QR code — we delete it on request as described above.
9. Communications & opt-out
Because the agent contacts you (not Senvista), your optional contact-consent choices at sign-in control whether and how. The sign-in offers optional checkboxes — for example, to be contacted about this property, and/or about this and similar homes, including automated/AI messages. If you leave the boxes unchecked, we do not share your contact with the agent for marketing. You can change your mind or opt out anytime by replying STOP to the agent's texts, unsubscribing from the agent's emails, or emailing us at support@candid.realestate; we will flag your opt-out to the agent and stop further sharing.
10. Financial-incentive, "Shine the Light," CalOPPA, minors
The optional drawing is a financial incentive — see the Financial Incentive Notice. California residents may make a once-yearly "Shine the Light" request to support@candid.realestate. This is our conspicuous online notice (CalOPPA); we honor GPC rather than inconsistent "Do Not Track" signals. The service is for adults 18+; we don't knowingly collect data from minors and don't sell/share it.
11. Agents, brokerages, and others who contact us
Separately from open-house Visitor data, we collect information from real estate agents and brokerages who sign up for or use the Service. Your use of the Service as an agent is also governed by the Agent Subscription Agreement.
Where we collect it. The first item below is operated by us directly. The rest are served from forms.candid.realestate and hosted for us by Tally as our processor:
- Setting up your sign-in (at candid.realestate/add-listing) — your name, brokerage, and email address. We use the email to send you the leads from your open houses and to contact you about your account. This is where a free account is created, and the page is run by us on our own servers — Tally is not involved.
We also record that you accepted our terms: the date and time, and which published set of documents was in force when you did — the Agent Subscription Agreement, the Data Processing Addendum, and this Privacy Policy. We keep this because those documents assign you responsibilities for the visitors who sign in at your open houses, and an agreement is only meaningful if we can show what was agreed and when.
Confirming your address. Because anyone can type an email address into a form, we send a one-time email to the address given, with a link to confirm the setup was yours and a link to remove it if it wasn't. Removing it deletes the record and stops any QR code made with it from working. We store whether you confirmed, and when. Your QR code works either way — confirming is not a condition of using the Service. - Paid sign-up (forms.candid.realestate/signup) — used on the paid path only, after a paid checkout: your first and last name, email, and brokerage. Optionally: the city or market you work, roughly how many open houses you host in a month, what you are hoping to get from the Service, and how you heard about us.
- Rescue Report request (forms.candid.realestate/rescue) — your name, brokerage, the email your subscription is under, and the property address. Optionally: what you would like the report to address.
- Feedback and testimonial (forms.candid.realestate/review) — a satisfaction rating, your name, your brokerage (optional), and any written answers you give. We publish your words only if you tick the box giving permission, and then only alongside your first name and the first initial of your last name. Left unticked, your answers stay internal.
We do not ask agents for a phone number on any of these forms. All correspondence with agents is by email.
Website contact form. Anyone — agent or not — can write to us through the contact form at candid.realestate/contact. It collects your name, email address, and message, and nothing else. We use what you send only to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell or share it, and it is never connected to open-house sign-in or feedback data. This form is not hosted by Tally: it is delivered to us by Web3Forms acting as our processor, and is protected from automated abuse by hCaptcha, whose own privacy notice governs the challenge you complete. We keep correspondence only as long as we need it to handle your enquiry and any follow-up.
Payment information. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's own checkout page — we never receive or store your full card number. We receive your name, email, billing country, and your subscription record.
How we use it. To create and support your account, generate your QR sign-ins and prepare your reports, verify eligibility for subscriber-only add-ons such as the Rescue Report, bill you, respond to you, and improve the Service. We may email you about your account and the Service; any marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
What happens to the visitors who sign in at your open houses. Their details are emailed straight to the address you gave us and we keep no copy — not in a database, not in a log. That email is the only record. The only thing we retain about a listing is a count of how many people signed in and how many agreed to be contacted, which carries no names or contact details of any kind. This is described in full in section 3.
We do not sell or share agent information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
Retention. Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and afterwards for as long as tax and legal requirements apply. A testimonial you have permitted us to publish stays published until you ask us to remove it — email support@candid.realestate and we will.
Your rights. California residents have the same rights set out in §8 — access, correction, deletion, and the rest. Email support@candid.realestate.
12. Cookies & tracking technologies
The Service does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or cross-context behavioral advertising technology. We measure site traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-preserving tool that does not use cookies or any persistent client-side identifier and does not track you across sites. If we later add a tool that does use cookies for tracking (for example, an advertising pixel, embedded video, or session-replay tool), we will update this notice and add a consent mechanism where required.
One exception — the contact page. The anti-abuse challenge on candid.realestate/contact is provided by hCaptcha, which may set a cookie and collect device and interaction signals in order to tell a person from a bot. This is strictly necessary to operate that form securely, is used for no other purpose, is not used for advertising, and does not run on any other page of the site.
13. Security, changes, contact
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and least-privilege practices, and we sign data-processing agreements with our vendors (including Tally as a processor). We'll post a new effective date for updates. SENVISTA LLC, 41 Wheeler Ave. #660863, Arcadia, CA 91066 · support@candid.realestate.
