Your Privacy Choices
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information.
Why this page exists. We process Global Privacy Control signals automatically and without friction, so under California Civil Code §1798.135(b)(1) we are not required to post a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link at all. We publish this page anyway, because you should be able to read how the choice works rather than take our word for it.
Do we sell or share your information?
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, when you sign in at an open house, we pass your contact information (name, email, phone) to the listing agent so they can follow up with you about properties. Because the agent may use that information for their own marketing, we treat this transfer as a "sale"/"share" under California law, and you may opt out.
We do not share the categories below: your anonymous feedback, sensitive personal information (we do not collect it), or the personal information of anyone under 16.
How to opt out
- Global Privacy Control (GPC) — automatic, nothing to submit. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we detect it the moment you open the sign-in link and we do not share your contact information with the listing agent — regardless of anything else you select. Brave sends GPC by default; Firefox has a setting for it under Privacy & Security. You do not need to tell us, and we will not interrupt you to ask.
- At sign-in: simply leave the optional contact-consent boxes unchecked. Those checkboxes are how you opt in to being contacted; if you don't check any, we don't share your contact information with the agent for marketing.
- Email us: send a note to support@candid.realestate with "Do Not Sell or Share" and the email or phone number you used at sign-in, and we'll apply it for you.
- By mail: SENVISTA LLC, 41 Wheeler Ave. #660863, Arcadia, CA 91066 — include the email or phone number you used at sign-in.
What happens after you opt out
We will stop sharing your personal information with listing agents for marketing within 15 business days and will not share it again unless you later authorize it. Opting out does not delete information already provided to an agent before your opt-out — to address that, contact the agent directly or submit a deletion request to us.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out on your behalf, with proof of authorization. We may ask you to verify your identity directly.
